On behalf of the hardworking and exceptional members of the Shreveport Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., thank you for taking time to visit our website. I am honored and proud to serve as the Chapter President of this dynamic, award-winning chapter.
Shreveport Alumnae Chapter is the oldest chapter charted in Louisiana and has been a beacon force of community service for nearly 95 years. We are happy to service the parishes of Caddo, Bossier, and DeSoto. We are proud of the work that we have done and continue to do in our community with an emphasis on our Five-Point Programmatic Thrust: Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness and Involvement, Physical and Mental Health and Political Awareness and Involvement.
Shreveport Alumnae Chapter is a Sisterhood of 370+ college educated women committed to public service. In the spirit of public service, welcome to the Shreveport Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. website.
Our members are leaders in the community, leaders in their fields, and are dedicated to using their skills, experience, influence, and passion to leave a lasting imprint in our community and on its future leaders, the next generation. For that cause, we strive for excellence in our community service projects and initiatives in the service area encompassing Caddo, Bossier, and Desoto parishes.
As 1st Vice President and chair of Membership Services, the main emphasis is to inspire and encourage an intentional commitment to loving one another, being empowered through engagement, activating our gifts, and doing the work that needs to be done. We LEAD by Example.
A diverse chapter with all generations represented, we continue to remain steadfast as a place where membership matters. So, if you are a member of our illustrious organization and are looking for a chapter home, then SAC is the place for you! We would be honored to have you join us.

It is both an honor and a privilege to serve Shreveport Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. as the 2024 – 2026 2nd Vice President. I am humbled to continue in a long line of Sorors committed to the vision and mission of our 22 Forward-Thinking Founders. I too rise to the challenge of assisting our committees in establishing programs to impact our communities.
As a Christian based organization full of college-educated women, we strive to achieve the marks of our Five-Point Programmatic Thrust. We pride ourselves on being leaders in our communities; often making the biggest impact. Consistency is key! We work hard to keep our hands on the pulse of the issues that impact our communities. We will not be complacent! We will continue to work hard to make a change… to make a difference. We are determined to be the change we want to see in this world. Will you rise to the challenge?
